Mayor of London calls for new homophobic hatred laws to be robust and effective

Commenting on the Government’s proposal to make it an offence to incite hatred against people on the basis of their sexual orientation, the Mayor of London Ken Livingstone today said:

‘I welcome the Government’s proposal to make it an offence to incite hatred against people on the basis of their sexual orientation.
